Happy Mother’s Day to all who mother. No job is more exhausting or more rewarding.
Today I give thanks for my wonderful sons and my own mother, who continues to be my role model, my champion, and my best friend.
Happy Mother’s Day, Mom.
A writer mom's musings on family, faith and facing fifty
Greetings, Pam. It takes me awhile to navigate the increasingly vast internet, but I did find your facebook "post" on somebody's "wall" and clicked onto your "blog." These terms are rolling off my fingers as if I've been computer savy for years! (Not so.)
ReplyDeleteI like your title, "Holding On and Letting Go." It reminds me of the Serenity Prayer. Your musings are easy for me to relate to, clearly those of a like-minded wife and mother.
Keep up the good work. I look so forward to our reunion in June, in Cedar Lakes. (Well, not in the Lake, hopefully.)Beyond the "reply-all" emails which Diane is so good about initiating, I will put your blog in my "favorites" list and peruse your site when I need a break from writing.
PS have you read Elizabeth Berg? I'm enjoying her, "Escaping Into The Open." It speaks to the novice writer in me.
Blessings!
Sarah
Thanks for your lovely words, Sarah. I'm so looking forward to seeing you at Cedar Lakes soon..yes not in! And a big fan of Elizabeth Berg's magazine articles and have some books of hers I need to read.
ReplyDeleteVery best!
Pam
