Later, I thought it would be cool to join the circus, and I even got a unicycle and learned to ride it.

From about age 11 to 25 or so, I was just totally confused and didn't have much of a clue as to what I wanted to do with my life.

Then, I remembered about wanting to be a mom, and that one came true.

I am also a writer, but that just kind of happened.Susan Casehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02754806394246422872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5100122464902026591.post-92134930175430290362009-11-13T06:22:02.911-08:002009-11-13T06:22:02.911-08:00I wanted to be a scientist, a teacher, a singer, a...I wanted to be a scientist, a teacher, a singer, an actress, a wife and a mom -- in no particular order. I always had a flair for writing. Didn't consider it until I saw all the math in my high school chemistry class. If I had been encouraged more, I might've sang and acted in school productions. I wish I had. Well, now I get to do it "right" with my daughter. Last I heard, she wants to be a veterinarian -- and also a dancer and a professional cheerleader. (I gotta tell her they don't make very much at all. Great story by Jeanne Marie Laskas about that.)Cynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13819344359107776185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5100122464902026591.post-47034417415618632162009-11-13T06:02:48.870-08:002009-11-13T06:02:48.870-08:00Anthropologist, Archeologist--correct spelling! Too bad the job market is markedly not fun. Oh well, I'll still get to tell stories.

I wanted to get married. I wanted to be a wife and have kids and a dog. I'm getting there, give me a few years and expect the dog before the kids.

I wanted to save the world. Recycling is good, littering is bad. I think I do my part.

I think I still have some growing up to do, but at least I had a Pam in my life to push me (kicking and screaming) at least part of the way.

You gave me some of the best advice and I still think of it. You looked me in the eye and told me to put on my big girl panties. I did and it got me pretty far. Early graduation didn't work out so well, but there is no going back now. Thanks for everything, Pam. I miss you so much.Mrs. Sammonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05231203424881751099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5100122464902026591.post-72028396673123864412009-11-13T05:57:47.713-08:002009-11-13T05:57:47.713-08:00I wanted to be an archelogist! Is it? :)

I never even thought about my own family...I just knew if would somehow all fall into place...I guess it did.

I too wanted to be "Mrs. Donny Osmond" and "Mrs. David Cassidy." What about Bobby Sherman? So dreamy!

I dreamed of traveling the world and living somewhere far, far away from San Diego. Now I would give anything to go back to the beach, sun and beauty of it all.

Your posts are so fun!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12651682613338245008noreply@blogger.com
